Isola Rossa is on the northwest coast of Sardinia, between Olbia and Porto Torres. Shipping companies are numerous to offer crossing from France or Genoa, Livorno or Civitavecchia.
From Olbia it takes 90 minutes to reach Isola Rossa. The road that crosses the north of the island is winding through Mount Limbara the highest peak of northern Sardinia. You will come across the forest path, and the large plateau of the "Valley of the Moon" characteristic with its unusual rocks that give the impression of being on the moon! You will cross natural landscapes of beauty. The northern coast of Sardinia is very protected and has kept its character intact.
From Porto Torres, it takes 60 minutes. The road is pleasant and runs along the north coast of Sardinia. On the way you can enjoy to see the beach of Platamona and visit the village of Castelsardo.
